DR. HANNE BLINDEMAN          (MD)

In 2016 I graduated as a doctor from the University of Ghent. The 2 years that followed I was a HAIO (GP in Training) in a group practice De Rotonde in Merelbeke.

I also completed ECG (electrocardiography) and spirometry (pulmonary function testing) training.

Appointed doctor with the police.

DR. CHARLOTTE GHYSELEN            (MD)

After working in the Botermarkt community health center for 10 years, I am now taking the leap to a smaller practice. I would like to help build a practice here where we provide warm, accessible and integrated care.

I am part of the Ghent Perinatal Mental Health Network and during my starting period I also worked for Pas Op (now Violett, medical care for sex workers) for two years.

In addition to general medical care, I have a special interest in pregnancy follow-up, pediatrics, I enjoy minor surgery (stitches, excision of small lesions, removal of ingrown toenails) and I also place IUD's and contraceptive implants.

Since I also like to have some energy left for my three daughters, I will not be in practice every day.

Accepted doctor at the Police.

I graduated from the University of Ghent in 2016.

After basic training, I worked for a year and a half in the general internal diseases department at the Johanniter Krankenhaus in Duisburg (under the direction of Dr. med. Tannhof). I ultimately chose general medicine and completed my training with Dr. Dirk Lauwerier in Gavere and with Dr. Thierry Dalewyn in Waregem. In addition, I worked for six months in the emergency department of the AZ Maria Middelares. In addition to general family medicine, I have a great interest in sports and preventive medicine. That is why I followed additional training to become a sports doctor.

Accepted doctor at the police.

DR. HELENA COPPÉ       (MD)

From April 2024 I will stop my activities at Huisartsenpraktijk Ekkergem.

First and foremost, I am going on maternity leave to welcome our second son to our family. Afterwards I will not return to the practice. I am quitting as a general practitioner. It 's time for me to take a different path.

I would like to thank you for your many years of trust! I wish you all the best for the future!

I have full confidence in my colleagues at the general practice for your medical guidance. They have the necessary information to help you further.
